Accredited Programme
The PhD programme in Food Engineering at the Universidad del Bío Bío is accredited for 5 years by the CNA (National Accreditation Commission).

OBJECTIVE
The objective of the PhD Programme in Food Engineering is to train researchers of the highest level, capable of carrying out original and independent research, aimed at promoting innovation in production processes and contributing to improving the competitiveness of the food sector in the country and Latin America.
COST
- Annual fee: $3.622.400.
- Tuition fee: $150.000.
DURATION
- This programme will have a duration of four years, at the end of which you will be able to obtain the degree of Doctor.
APPLICATION
The applicant must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree in Food Science and Engineering or other Academic Degrees or University Professional Degree in a discipline related to the area of Food Engineering.
The application can be made in two admission periods, in the first and second semester respectively.
