Graduation Requirements

  • Have passed all courses and training activities within a period not exceeding 12 semesters.
  • To have passed the Qualifying Examination.
  • To have passed the Thesis and the corresponding Degree Examination.
  • Obtain a final grade equal to or higher than 5.0 points.
  • Have presented the results of their thesis at a national or international congress.
  • Have accepted at least one publication in a journal indexed in ISI.

 

Graduate Profile

The graduate of the PhD in Food Engineering will be a professional qualified to carry out autonomous research that produces cutting-edge knowledge in Food Engineering Sciences, with national and international recognition. They will be able to communicate and defend conceptually and methodologically the results of their research in oral and written form. At the same time, they will be able to conceive, develop and evaluate solutions and innovations in processes and technologies required by the food production sector. Likewise, they will be characterised by their ability to formulate research and development projects.
